• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Screenshot Help Please

Hi,I would like to post (WIP) shots of an aircraft up,but I have not found any directions on how to do this.Is there a manual please or concise instructions?

Thank You for your time

RL

if you mean from within FSX..just use a program like FSScreen..and im sure others will chime in on other programs..but i just use FSScreen cause its easy for a dummy like me to understand...lol.

From within FSX you can use the "V" key, the screenshots will be saved to (in wins7) My Pictures/Flight Simulator X Files
as BMP's. You will need to convert them to JPG (use irfanview) to do this. BMP's are to big in size and is recommended
to use JPG's here at SOH.
To post them here:
When you either start a new thread or reply to a post, scroll down and you will see "Manage Attachments"
click on that and a new window will open, top right you will see "ADD FILES" a little window will open.
Click on "Browse" and go to where you have saved your screenshots, pick the pics you want to upload,
then click "UPLOAD". Once they are uploaded to the site, they will be attached to your post.
Another way is to use a free image hosting site like Photobucket. Using a site like this will allow the bigger
pics you see in the Screenshot thread.
