Sea Hurricane

Speaking of aircraft, when is someone going to do a high detailed rendition of the Sea Hurricane?

Just for the record, I have the JF BOB Hurricane. It's a great model and very fun to fly. Actually it's lots of fun. So please don't take this topic offensively. I got my copy during the survey, FOR FREE!

I would just like to see a Sea Hurricane if at all possible.

Alright, I said my bit. Sorry troops.

+1

But I suppose my avatar proves I'm biased.

I own and enjoy the JF Hurricane, but to be honest it has its faults. Especially when you try to repaint it.
Personally I would be delighted to purchase a comprehensive multi-model pack like what Mike did for the FR P-40N.

As soon as someone does a decent high detail rendition of the NORMAL Hurricane :D

(I hate the existing ones) Want accusim hurri!

Ever since I saw the YouTube video of the ex-Rhodesian Spitfire 22 (and reading Jeffery Quill's account of flying it) I'd love to see a high fidelity rendition of it. As much as I enjoy Mr. Scrub's rendition, I think a native, full detail version would be a hoot.

The CWH used to own a 12-gun Hurricane XII that I was very fond of. Sadly, it was lost in a major hangar fire back in the 1990's, along with a TBM Avenger, a Stinson 10, an Auster, and the CAF's Spitfire MK.IX that had been stored there following a prop strike incident. The Hurri's cockpit and mix of tube and fabric and monocoque construction always fascinated me and would lend itself beautifully to FSX...

Robert Sanderson did a very nice Sea Hurricane for FS9, perhaps it work in FSX. Its available at Flightsim.com.

Cheers,

As if I would spend my time and energy on something like a Hurricane... ;)

(Nice riposte though. Chapeau.)

But as you've got the skill to make models now, why not kick off a project?
I mean, you've got the biggest pool of people intrerested in stone age airplanes with guns here who are perfectly willing to contribute to it.
Also, the Hurricane is very well documented, so you've got all the info you need.
What's going to stop you?
