Sea Traffic?

SpaceWeevil

SOH-CM-2024
I'd like to ask your experiences of FS2024 sea traffic - is it just me flying over watery deserts? With Object & Terrain LOD at 100 and sea traffic at Ultra I've yet to see a single moving boat or ship leaving a wake. Turning on the labels shows a variety of ships apparently present but at best they pop in when overflown at low altitude and - just as quickly - pop out again. It's the same story whether flying in real time or selecting a date. Upping the Object / Terrain LOD seems to make no difference, and anyway my system won't support levels much over 100. A lot of my flying is around the Solent / Isle of Wight area and along the coast both ways, and the lack of sea traffic is a real immersion killer.

I look forward to the GAIST ships having hard decks to land helos on. Currently they don't, but I know that is one of the things the developer is planning, eventually.
