Agree completely. This was tried, including having the carriers pitch and roll according to winds, plus turn automatically into the wind, and while that all worked, it turns out that you lose the ability to have a land-able surface. The main sim benefit with moveable carriers goes to those later ones with angled decks, as it takes a little extra skill to get lined up correctly while your runway is moving sideways on you. It's nice to have accompanying carriers. Would have been great if these were moving...

Good to know, but a little disappointing, as they got that working on FSX/P3D, you would have thought Asobo would get that working when they did the top gun pack. That extra 20-30 knots of wind from the moving ship was significant when landing on a carrier.Agree completely. Which is why the instructions recommend setting up custom winds down the deck. It's easy, takes a little effort, but the experience becomes as close as it can to reality. Gives you some nice waves, too.Good to know, but a little disappointing, as they got that working on FSX/P3D, you would have thought Asobo would get that working when they did the top gun pack.
