There at one point this cool little tool that ran on the desktop that when run you typed in any airport code and it gave the weather conditions for that area..

I am hunting it and am striking out....

Any help would be great......Thanks

FS Metars has a box that you can type in the airport code and will will display a weather report in a very cryptic manner....probably written in Pilot Talk. FS Metars will also feed real time weather into your sim (via FSCUIP) at a much faster rate than the stock real time weather.

The latest version of FS Metars can be downloaded here:

Here's a link to a student pilot site that explains how to read METAR style weather reports:

In past packages for FSUIPC there was a little freeware application in the zip file called Weather Set 2.

Weather Set 2 is used to look up the current weather at at an ICAO or Lat / Longitude corrordinates in FS2004.

It interfaces with FSUIPC naturally. You do not need to have a registered version of FSUIPC it works with the freeware version.

Also packaged in the old zip is Weather set. Which was used for FS2002 Weather.

The latest version of FSUIPC does not include Weather Set in the down load but it is still on Peter Dawsons web page.

Thanks guys...I got busy and forgot all about my request....

I nabbed the FSX tool, and it works great on XP.....:ernae:
