• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Scenery - Library objects

Description: Searchlight and trailer for CFS2. Automatically turns on at dusk and turns off at dawn.

Due to limitations in CFS2 there are 2 parts of the installation.

Part 1: The searchlight and trailer as standard GSL library objects which can be used as standalone scenery objects.
This version of the searchlight will turn on and off but will not rotate.
You will need the aus_trailer.bgl as the searchlight sits on the trailer.

Part 2: The searchlight consisting of a standard non-GSL object so the light functions correctly.
WARNING! Recommended for scenery developers only. You must have an advanced knowledge of scasm to use this scenery object.

To check it out, rate it or add comments, visit Searchlight Aus
The comments you make there will appear in the posts below.

Aussie has revised the package to give us a destructible GSL version of the searchlight as well as the original macro version.

The GSL version will turn on and off but will not rotate.

Thank you Aussie! :applause:
