so only a whole day after i get everything situated on my spare hard-drive, all my planes downloaded, all my settings back to the way i liked it...

soooo.... yeah apparently there was a spring loose in the drive itself (yay) and i hauled myself to the nearest best buy, bought myself a brand new 500gb, and a complete version of windows 7.(the one i ran for the past day was a free version provided by the college)
and heres hoping that this build will be stable!
