Had to pass on last night and now looking at around 7pm EST today. The forums will be closed and the server will be rebooted.

If it's any help I woke up to a bunch of email notifications from PM alerts saying that I had messages.
Email is now fixed.
Registrations have now been turned on. .
Hopefully that is the end of this mess.
