If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I'm plugging away at the final details before Tongass Fjords X goes into beta. While we do the final wrenching, here's a little taste of SE Alaska.

Looking real purty Bill, i love the new high res ground textures and the attention to detail in the buildings. :applause::applause::applause:

Since it does not see like UTX is going to do Alaska this is going to be a must have. And even if UTX does do Alaska this will still be a must have. Love those pictures.

WOW Bill! That's Stika! Although, the top photos look like they could be Petersburg?

You called it, jmig! I only regret that we weren't able to locate any aerial photos for Petersburg. Holger found some great sets for other towns in the area, though. And of course, one of them was Sitka.

I can send some photos I took last summer when we visited the area. Not aerial shots however. Mostly of the wharf area and buildings in town.

Thanks, John. I'll take whatever you've got. I've searched the web for a decent aerial to use in placing buildings and the like, but I haven't found squat yet. I wish I'd gone there myself when I was doing the Sitka photography, but it was a little out of the way for a side trip at the time.
