I'm pinning this with a caveat. The external model has been given generally good reviews at the MSFS forum, but the systems apparently still need work. Still, the price may still convince many to purchase now and hope for updates.

Here's the thread on the "official" forum, with the developer posting updates:

I believe that's the same airplane that Rob Richardson released for FSX quite a few years ago. I will be picking that one up for sure!

Well, I'm reserving my opinion until I have a chance to actually fly it beyond a couple of miles. My first look was marred by the gauge panel which had a carbon fiber look, however the individual squares were easily 1" (or more) making the overall look kinda. . .ewwww! There's only one model/livery so I guess I'll get used to it, but I don't want to, lol

After take off I headed north (from Waco, Tx) to fly to my home airport (KGYI). I turned on the AP and tapped the ALT button and it crashed the Sim. Sooooooooo, I decided to walk away from the computer and go do some T-Shirts I had to finish for a company! I may try again this evening.

Second flight went better although I could not get the PFD to come on at all but luckily I have the payware GTN750 so I did have a display to fly by. The panel, as it turns out is not an enlarged carbon fiber texture, it's just a panel design I hope they change at some point, lol. Aside from those items the rest of the cockpit is nicely done but I am looking through the manual to see if the pilot is removable in the VC (something I never cared for with early sim versions (FS9/FSX).

The more I fly it the better I like it. Still many functions that are inop but the developers are dedicated to regular updates which is encouraging.
