She Never Gets Old

We all go through our dry spells where we just don't feel like flying much. I know I do.
There is one aircraft that always gets me excited to get back in the game.
It's an old model, and a long forgotten one at that, the Alphasim F-105D

The beauty, performance, and excitement of this aircraft take me from my dull drum spell, and shoot me back into the world of FSX, where I may not always be, but my heart is.

What aircraft do you guys saddle into to get you back into the game after a few days of boredome?

Thanks, I don't believe so pertaining to the G model. Razbam has one in the works though (I think)

Their render shots look amazing!

Nice shot MenendezDiego. I assume this is the old Thunderchief and not the one released last year. Because when you call a model from last year already old, I fly models from the dark ages. In FS9 I still often fly the (beta!) GroundCrew Messerschmitt Bf110-G2 or Jean-Marie Mermaz's Dewoitine D-520, which are already from 2003!

However I'm convinced that, when I start looking for them, I can find models on my hard-disk which are even older.

A quick blast in anything by Alphasim is usually enough to remind me why I love to fly. Add to that the RealAir Spitfire, Aerosoft Falcon, Skysim Mirage, and, weirdly, Sky Unlimited's Ho 229 and you have my current faves.

I guess the F-105 from Alphasim isn't THAT old, but it was one of the first planes I purchased when I got into FSX (little over a year ago)

Menedez,

Does that awesome paint come with the F-105, or is it an add-on from one of our artists?

Regards,

Hehe I usually play another game, like BF2 etc

But usually it's the RealAir Duke that gets me back into it.

"The Frito Bandito" can be found at AVSIM. Search for Russel R. Smith under author.

He did several textures.
