Shocking Pink

Eoraptor1

SOH-CM-2022
After a few weeks off from flight simming, I have returned to find that the lettering in my menu windows has unaccountably turned from white to various shades of a bright neon pink, sometimes with shades of light blue; sometimes with yellow. I have no idea why. Has this happened to anyone else?

Sounds like you're running an older Nvidia driver. First, try updating your video driver. If that fails to remedy, turn off AA temporarily in the sim but set the AA in your graphics hardware controller in Windows desktop to "application-controlled".

Thanks for answering, Bearcat. I'm dilligent with the driver updates, so I'm up to speed on that one, but I'll try your other suggestion ASAP.

Hey Eoraptor1, Another possibility?
May want to check out if your Clear Font is on...To change it see this link... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306527 ...It caused the same thing on my rig. Pesonally, since I need glasses for reading, this type of font is easier on my peepers. Also I like the different way Graphics appear,.. But it is a personal preference thing. :wavey:

Oh, and BTW, here is a set-up procedure for those of us with slightly older eyeballs. :icon_lol:

It was the Clear Font!!! Thanks dvslats. What I don't understand is why it just started affecting CFS2 now. The only thing I can think of is something in the updated video card drivers that doesn't get along with Clear Font.
