Can I ask why the dear old Short seaplane didn't make it into P3? It seems to have made it into the manual but as far as I can see not into the game...any reason?

we got one gandi/no worries

and its carrying torps too.

ill put it on site with new pylons for the new weapons loadout.

we even have a Navy re-8 with depth charge's.

Pol, great idea to do a home defence addon! If there's a Zeppelin in it I'll buy it.

good idea, it would have been great to have the Short seaplane in P3 - no problem or so i think, because you can still use the Phase2 Short seaplane in P3, as well as the Zeppelin - just copy the folders to P3 and that's it. The thing is you can only use it in Quick Flight and missions (ask Pilotsden), but not campaign - yet - as Pol mentioned, maybe later. I hope it will happen some day. I am missing those airships since the ancient "Red Baron 1", and that was 20 years ago ...

One of the best books regarding mostly german naval airships (not all german rigid airships were "Zeppelins", but most) is Robinson's "German naval airships".
The best film that has at least some action with a WWI Zeppelin is most probably "Hell's Angels", almost historical inner views, and they really did destroy it for the film, or so it seems :-(. Historical inaccuracies are present, but it's worth seeing.

Only an offer, i have been reading a lot about Zeppelins lately, since i am gathering information on a certain naval Zeppelin.
If anyone from the OFF team needs any dates when Zeppelind attacked England, which Zepps were partaking, routes flown or types used etc. i would be glad to help :wave:
