SHRS F-111 question

Navy Chief

Senior Member
I know the SHRS F-111 was not designed to work in P3D, and is not supported by them. Too bad. Beautiful model, and the "price is right"! NC :loyal:

Agree NC, Steve Hess has a great work there. Needs a native model but also I would guess 64 bit compatible gauges so it’s not as simple as some other conversions.

Indeed Butch, it works just fine in a 32 bit sim. But not in a 64 bit sim. Which is a pity.

Not without issue. I was able to load the aircraft (each variant) from say Eglin airfield but if I attempted KFSO (Flightbeam) it would close P3Dv3 to the desktop (no error window/s). This was with his current build F-111 V 2.0 Beta build 082017. Best guess is the aircraft along with KFSO is too much.

Steve stated the following on his forum...

"Unfortunately the F111 package was not designed for use in P3d and is not supported"

Thanks for the heads up, Chief! Don't know why I didn't keep it the first time I had it? Flies great and a working radar to boot! :applause:
