[SIZE=-1] FS2004/FSX Pan An Sikorsky S-40. S40 was the first Pan American Airways plane to be named Clipper. A four-engine amphibian built in 1931. It carried up to 32 passengers and 5 crew with a range up to 900 miles at cruising speed of 115 mph, mostly in Caribbean service. Includes textures for NC-80V "American Clipper" with early blue and yellow trim, and NC-81V "Caribbean Clipper" with traditional black and orange trim. Created in FSDS 3.5, with virtual cockpit containing entire plane, including passenger compartment. All-new model supersedes Gmax model published in 2003. The first of the Pan American Clippers! Glad to see that he has updated it.
 
As I was scrolling down through the screen shots of the S-40, I was like WOW, COOL, NICE...until I hit the last pic and saw the fabric on those seats...and then I was like WOAH! Talk about some bad interior decorating!

George has blessed us with many nice amphib/seaplanes. The quality of his work is really good, the frame rates on his planes are great, the texture mapping is good. Really nice stuff. I am sure the S-40 will be just as nice.....and it will have a permanent spot in my hangar. You all know I have a thing for radial engines and float planes. The S-40 is a floater with 4 radials...doesn't get much better than that.
