Does anyone have any idea why the D. Hardcastle S61N is not flying in my FS9? The sound and rotors work but it does not lift off the ground. It says it is FS2004 compadible. Help! Thanks in advance.

I tried it and it flies like a dream on my machine...I wish we had an updated S61...:icon29:

Pointy, this same s61n on my other computer flys well. It must be just this one computer. Sigh. Must love fs - can drive me crazy at times.

Yeah boy, I know what you mean...if it ain't one thing, it's another...:isadizzy:

Where in the Hill Country (Heaven) are you? I've rode my Harley all over that beautiful place...:icon29:

Live just outside of Kerrville near a small town of Ingram close to the the Ingram Dam!! It is a swell place to live in retirement. In my Navy life I was all over the world - Texas is a whole other Country!! BTW: I managed to screw up the working computer with the S61N by accidently overwriting the working install with the non working folder of S61N.. groan. It will turn out to be something very simple but at my age I will forget the fix in two years and start over again.... smile.

Thanks Aeromed202, checked and it responds with the throttle and increases up to about 90 percent. It will be a simple deal but right now I just have no ideas....
Ed

Bring up the popup panel of your collective control.
make sure the throttle is wide open on the collective, or your helicopter will never get far off the ground...

Thanks to all. The problem was a bad AIR file. Replaced it and all works fine now. Sigh. This is a fine helicopter and a joy to use now. Again, thanks to all.
