    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Hi all,

I've been looking for a website selling SSW's aircraft for years now but it seems that all purchase links have been deactivated;

Does anybody know more than i do? I've contacted them on facebook but they've never got back to me, I really don't know what to think: I truly can't understand why they released their stuff for free for P3D but not FSX and made it not available for purchase. It just sucks to miss out on some great addons, especially those close to home like the G.91: one is propped up in my city in memorial of a Frecce Tricolori pilot.

Exactly and it's just incomprehensible to me, alphasim/virtavia, IRIS and a few other released all of their old addons for free on their website but SSW ditched everything negating the possibility for people like me to ever fly those aircraft.. Hell, i'd buy them full price if they made them available again. Nothing takes away from the fact that their website is trash and there seemingly is no way to get in contact with them directly; Ahhh, I can go on and on all day about how this makes me angry.
 
Technically IRIS best product got taken down too, the Mudhen F15 as well as the milviz F15 two high quality planes, both gone. I was in the same boat as you, felt I was missing out, but in reality the only reason there is so much payware gone freeware right now is because you and I are latecomers.

At the end of the day we have plenty of planes to get our jollies off. But I am with you, some awesome planes gone vaporware. I wish the community could fill in some of those gaps, but it is what it is. Not everyone is down for fileshare. Through diligence I found a few vaporware products, you can pm and Ill let you know which ones.

For sure, me personally: i'm lucky enough to have stuff like the freeware MB339, MiG21, Etendard, and a few other to fly around in which come at stupendous quality, great modularity and are framerate efficient but, as for all aviation enthusiasts, i just can't have enough: so many beautiful aircraft and rotorcraft out there and i'd like to fly them all! :p I'll shoot you a p.m. in a bit.
