I hope somebody can help me.

The problem is the canopy. Looks so "toylike" in blue. Any Idea how to make it "transparent" ???

I have tryed to downlod "Shessi's" repaints but the links are dead. Even with "Mortons" great repaints (screenie) the same problem occurs

btw the 2. screenie is "stolen" from "Morton" !!! forgive me please :-( !!!

Greetings
Andi

Someone did a file to make it transparent instead of the tint job that came with it. It's out there, but I sure don't remember where.

There has been a major push by the CFS2 guys to restore all of their missing down loads to the new file library.

Most of Morton's files are now in the new library. You can find the DO-335 repaints here and here2

Shessi's repaints can be found here.

I don't know if it contains the glass fix.

The canopy color and transparency is not dictated by the skin...it is dictated by the MDL material settings. I did a tweak to the MDLs that fixed the canopies. I uploaded them here and to Flightsim.com I think...let me check.

It's here in the library...under Warbirds Archives. DO335 Canopy Fix or something like that. Just do a search by author under my name...page 2 or 3. Just click this link:

And a DO335 Sound pack:

links ? ;-) pls.... "lol"... sorry thx for your help, but can't see links... btw I have all of Mortons stuff. Only Shessis I can't get...

The words "here", "here2" and "here" are the links. For some reason the forum software is not displaying them as Blue like links should be.

Mouse over them and you will see they are clickable.

shame on me :blind: <--- I was ...... thx and sorry :ernae:

Just think.. If Tom ever decided to do a new model, it would be for FSex and we'd have to get a whole new set of paints...

That should keep the troops busy :wiggle:

Puttin' my 2 cents of worth in on this.

Thanks OBIO and Shessi, I had forgotton how good Tom's Pfeil was. Anyhow, my model sit too low, contact points amendments for any others with the same problem, amend the aircraft.cfg contact points with the bold.

Also, could not deal with the scraped up black prop, changed it to black-green. Made a new prop blur (used for both the fast blur and slow blur). The new static prop color and both new prop blurs are in the zip attachment. Drop each texture in the zip into each texture folder and overwrite.

For best reults, add this line to the aircraft.cfg below ui_variation=??. This must be done for all variants.

prop_anim_ratio=1.025
