Sliders, Basic Question

I did a search on a question I had about sliders and had so many possiblilites it was mind boggling. Not exactly a new person, but a "looker", I have played phase 2 about 20 hours. I have Pase 3 ordered and should recieve any day. My question is this. I have seen many, many references to pushing "slidrs" back or lessened in order to improve frame rates.. This might be embarassing but I cannot find these sliders. The only ones I seem to have that I would define as sliders are in the "sound" area. I have checked and I am tentative in asking this question. But where and what are you talking about? I am not a CFS3 fan, did not have that game until I needed it for Phase 2, have been involved in FS9, FSX, and countless flight sims. At the age of 60?? like many of you oldies out there, I ask your help. Thank you

Dane- The sliders are in the settings config.
1- Go to Workshop from the main menu screen.
2- Hit CFS 3 Config button.
3 - Hit FILE in upper left corner of dialog box.
4- Click Custom Display
5- Click OK to whatever comes up in the "notification" display
6 -There's the settings sliders!

For someone unfamiliar with CFS 3 or OFF it can be confusing at first..... 6 or 60:ernae:

Dane48, the 'sliders' are part of the configuration file cfs3Config. Open the folder where OFF is installed and you will see a black icon with a spanner on it called cfs3Config. Double click to open it. There will be a pause and then you will get the message that the game is configured for your graphics card.

Click on 'File' at the top the page and choose 'Change Display Options' to set your screen resolution, click on the OK button when you've finished. Next click on 'File' again and this time choose 'Custom Settings' and OK the warning message that comes up. Now you should see the sliders you've been wondering about.

For more detailed settings in cfs3Config please see my reply to Siggi's post called 'CFS3 Patch?'

Good luck
