I kow it is somewhere, but I can't find them. It seems as if it was an xml file, I have lookd at all of them. I want to have them at all 5's. I quit, cfs3 when I was still a member of the 46th (that's why it is 46_trap). Flying CFS3, is not like riding a bike. You go away and then come back and it is a relearning problem.

Thanx for any help

You can set them in-game by using the tabs, or going to cfsconfig.

The game has certainly changed since you've been away! :wiggle:

As FireStorm stated in his post you can do this in one of the two options he mentioned,

Probably the easiest way to do this is to fire up CFS3 ,
Upper right hand corner of your screen you will see the Options tab, click that

Next click on Display Options
Next click on Image Quality
If you want to set all of your sliders up to 5, and you are sure your comp can handle it ,
Use the top slider (Over all image quality) and move it all the way up to 5.

If you notice any stutter in frame rates, or game is un playable you might have to play around with sliders and set (Over all image quality) to 1 or 2 and adjust the other sliders untill you you have something you can live with.

Aircraft detail on most systems can be set to 5 with no noticeable decrease in frame rates.

Clouds will take the biggest hit on your frame rates (set to 1) if you have frame rate problems
Scenery, Terrain and Effects follow a close second ,third and fourth on frame rates.

Hope this helps, and if you need any help just ask :ernae:
