• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

SOH-CM-2025
Im giving this model a lot of airtime at the moment, even more than the C9 model that i also have, but one thing i do notice is that i seem to be sitting quite deep down in the cockpit compeard to the C9 model, im thinking i can change a value in the cfg maybe, [Views] eyepoint=18.035,0.0,3.200, or maybe i have to look elseware, but id like to experiment a little, raising my viewpoint just 2 or 3 inches to see what happens, but before i screw thing up, whats actualley the value to play with.
cheers ian

Ian, that's right, just change the eyepoint - FYI the values I am using:

[Views]
;eyepoint=18.035,0.0,3.20 Alphasim values
eyepoint=18.035,0.0,3.35

As you can see, I increased the vertical offset with 0.15

cheers, Henk.
