Slow but sure progress...

To all,

I'm making slow but steady progress on a number of fronts. After getting MaskRider's DEI and Solomon packages installed, I'm going through and installing the other packs, despite their problems with the new mesh, to get a full picture.

I must say despite the problems, I'm very impressed with the work that's been done.

The next step is to start updating DEI, I may do that first since I am more familiar with it before starting DOA. In order to do that, I have to get Xavierb's EAWWII pack going. I've also got to go through tomorrow and see what weapons I'm missing.

I may also throw in an full update to Cactus Air Force, but that is being discussed with certain people at the moment.

In the interim, I've had the week from hell, though things seem to be levelling out a bit. Especially since I'll be busy this weekend testing Pearl Harbor!

Reporting from Henderson,

Rami,

I have the stuff going on the task you requested. I am missing all of the weapons for the aircraft though. Where is the WD weapons pack?
Without them, I cannot get the mission to load in MB to put the Naval assets in.

Devildog,

I checked the aircraft link I sent you and it was in the "weapons" folder, but I'll post them here for you.

Now if you're referring to the weapons pack for Cryingtoto's Seafire, that's found here: http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/download/spitwep.zip

Do you have this package for the Donationware Wildcats?

I really appreciate your help on that, by the way. I know my MB strengths, and you do a much better job on that than I do. (For those who are curious, the is the Salerno landings, only this time from a British perspective in the Beaufighter campaign, with FAA Seafires and Wildcats flying cover along with P-38h Lightnings.)

Also...because I'm getting my PTO install up, I'll test those Pacific Aces missions for you that have been in my saved e-mail box collecting dust. :wiggle:

Devildog,

If you look in that weapons pack, the pilot.dp, gunner.dp, pilot.bgl and gunner.bgl are all included. The other pilot pack offers different pilot choices if you want to tweak with them.

Thanks buddy.

BTW, I am taking my thoughts from the other thread and am embarking on a 2 per theater install of CFS2. Morton and Talon just convinced me that I need to do that.

I really find it a relaxing time jumping from theater to theater in flight.

I am going to use SdCs in E&W ETO, MTO, & AfricaTO mesh and Rhumba's in North America, South PTO and Central PTO.

I really like PacTex throughout and will use it until the newer stuff some of the guys are working on is out.

I just uploaded 20 planes for PHP2,Hopefully they'll be up soon.

Kates-11.They are setup for Level bombing,Glide bombing and Torpedo attacks.

Talon

My mistake, I thought this post was from you. Oldtimer's disease I suppose.:bump:

BTW Talon, I just DLd your aircraft and will get them installed in my EARLY WWII PTO install of CFS2. :ernae:

Thank you for all of your excellent work, brother.
