Hello all!

Does anyone remember an addon by Pimp Aviation from 2006 called "Smugglers of the Caribbean: Cabo Key" ?

There's a nice review of it - in Polish, but I use Google Translate - at http://yoyosims.pl/FS2004_Smugglers.html

I think it's right up my street and I'd love a copy. Obviously, finding an 18-year old add-on is a long shot, but... worth a try.

So, anyone here have any leads?
Cheers gang :ernaehrung004:

I remember it well, and I did have it, until my laptop & my sim library of 6 portable drives got stolen a year or so ago!
(A supposed friend of mine said that she would keep all of it for me while I was in hospital. She kept it in her car, that was broken onto!)

So much irreplaceable software went missing. Luckily, I had kept some stuff in the cloud.

Hi, searched the Pirate Bay, no results. If you ever find it count me in.

Good luck,

hertzie.

Good evening friends,
I also had it but lost it on my several pc crashes
I searched if I had a copy on my external HD of my dozens of cd's, njiet.
So I m very glad about you share it
Thanks a lot
Best regards
Michael

Wow, thanks so much. I had forgotten about that one. It's nice to have again.

Also, in my search to find it out there on the 'net, I 'Operation Valkyrie' that I also had before.

FS2004 Rocks!

Good morning gentlemen!

What a fine surprise to wake up to! Thank you so very much Bookman: I have secured my copy and I anticipate many happy hours ahead. I wonder, given that the developers are no longer around, if there will be a problem if we upload it here for preservation?

I suppose that is a question for minds superior to my own :engel016:

Thank you to Hertzie and ZSWobbie for looking, too.

ZSWobbie, regarding Operation Valkyrie - can you tell me where you found that one, please? :) Thank you very much.

Cheers gang

Bookman, for me the link doesn't work, dropbox says the file is removed, so please be so kind to get me another link.

Thanks a lot,

hertzie.

I am such a ....... (fill in the gap!)
After finding Smugglers & installing it, I stuck it away in my Library file, which I promptly deleted (& overwrote) :pop4:
Now it will not download again!
:rolleyes::banghead:

G'day all.

Here's a new link to the file. I've been pondering the ethics of posting this old payware after receiving a few PM's but as it is quite old...and it would be a shame to lose it forever.

Anyway, here's a fresh link:

Thanks, I also was a bit hesitant to post it.
It is not out there on the usual sites, & I found it on a Russian torrent site.

What is the etiquette in posting stuff that is not on the usual libraries, nor being sold anymore?
There is quite a bit freeware & payware that is quite old, but still very good. Lago springs to mind.
There are actually a few developers that have moved on to P3D & have changed their pre P3D payware to freeware.

It will be great to get some sort of consensus about this, without anyone acting like internet police.
There are a few developers still out there, that gave us some great software, & I would not like to tread on any toes.

Seems to me if the Company is no longer in business, and any contact information has gone dark, then it's obviously something that's not important to said Company/individual anymore so it should be fair game. If it is important to them then they would make a complaint once it's posted/distributed.
