SNCAC NC.700 /NC.701 Martinet - french after war production of the german Siebel Si 204D

Hallo Friends,
1n 1944 just after the production line of the german Siebel Si 204D has been liberated from the german occupants, france restarted the production of this aircraft as SNCAC NC.700. This plane was as same as the original. After about 11 aircraft build, the french decided to equip the plane with french Renault engines with single carburator and three bladed Ratier electric controlled prpps instead of the original Argus engines with

Thanks Michael for uploading this nicely done repaint. Just have to check where I could or should place the aircraft and in which era.

Meanwhile I found out that the Escadrille 5S was based at BAN Karouba (Tunesia) from 1957 to 1963. But it isn't mentioned whether som emartinet were assigned there.

While flying back from Djerba, we overflew Karouba and Bizerte. This later became well known in 1961 with the Bizerte Crisis.

Hi Bernard,
in fact my NC 700/ NC701 is based on Shessies Siebel Si 204 D. But I did not only repaint them, but also did a specific panel to the NC700, which is very close to the original german cockpit. And than the panel for the NC.701 which have changed a lot as it is fully french equiped.
I also did put m fingers into the aircraft cfg and the airfile. Shessi did extra for me the new model for the NC701 with the three bladed props and new prop spinners.
As the plane is called to fly mostly over france I included the french moving map which is based on a old french prewar map. Jorge did a big job to make this map operational.
I hope with that plane I can bring a bit diversion in our loved FS2004
