SOH FS9 Archives??

Not really a glitch...but an after effect of the Great Server Crash of 09. The thumbnail thingies were broken and it's not worth the effort required for each package to have new thumbnails made and readded. Just think of it like blind dates...all you get is a vague description from your buddy and have no clue what the gal looks like until she opens the door. Sometimes you get lucky and she's a hottie...sometimes you find out that your buddy has set you up with the ugliest gal in town just to get back at you for putting Icy Hot in his jock strap in high school.

LOL.......that's one way of looking at I guess.
That's too bad. I've a feeling, but I'm not looking to waste a date.
In which case, search by author or subject,
and look at the number of d/loads to give you a clue,
for example Lucien aka "Yago9" has done (and continues in FSX) some
amazing photo-real repaints,searching for Yago9 will net you all his
uploads so far.

Thanks Pete. I guess that makes sense for members that know who made what, when, where and how. But I don't think there's a rope long enough to tie round my waste to jump in like that. Luck would have it, the rope would break (lose connection) and I'd have to start all over again.
I'm not sure how the listing method for the archive directory goes, but there's a lot of members here!! Can't understand for the life of me why a members name would be in the drop-down if they didn't ever upload anything (scratches head) that alone makes things much more confusing.
The freeware sticky is excellent. But, a lot of what's there is uploaded at different places all over the web. For being here the short time I have, I see a lot of skill and talents right here. As it stands, I'm standing on the outside of a toy store. If I go in, I'm lost.
