"SOH Message"

Every few minutes i get an message
"The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later."
Then i`m kicked off the Site and can try nearly 5minutes
to enter your Site again.
Something`s wrong with your server?

Not on this side (the Netherlands). I sometimes get the message when it takes too long to load a page.

A couple of other members were seeing that message as well while the whole time I was on with no problem. My gut feeling is it was the server fending off a Denial of Service attack.

Ickie has scripts in place to combat those types of attacks.

I've gotten that same message three times now in the past 24 hours.

This is quickly becoming a comedy of errors. After I posted the last reply, I got a message that the site was down for maintenance. 3 hours later I get a message saying that "it too busy, try later", I finally get back in and post a message on this thread, hit "submit reply" and I get an error message again saying it's too busy. . .WHAT? Another 30 minutes and I'm finally back in. . .for now.

I have been getting it all morning...I'd say in the last 3 hours I have been able to see the forum for 20 minutes.

You may wish to wait a bit longer till we know if the server is stable or if Ickie needs to bring it down again..
