• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Just thinking (dangerous I know!) and sorry if this is a daft question but surely as all these files exist on the server, can’t they just all be bundled up in one go rather than downloading the individual files??

Pat,

I understand your thought, but if we start bundling files, that will cause more problems than it solves. Each entry that was uploaded to the library had its own credits, and is its own package. We need to have individual entries for each of the files, I would like to keep the structure the same between the old archive and the new library.
 
SOH CFS3 Archive Re-upload status.

Guys,

I have just finished downloading and checking all the SOH CFS3 Archive 1 Skins.

These files are still missing:

404 - File or directory not found.

So far, I have downloaded all of SOH CFS3 Archive 2 files, all categories, all SOH CFS3 Archive 1 Original Aircraf, RFepaint (stand alone) Aircraft, and Skins.

Gecko has done Betas, Maps, and Nose Art.

Pat Pattle has done Ships and Vehicles.

This leaves Effects, Scenery, Sounds, Textures, Missions & Campaigns, Weapons, and Other.

C'mon, guys, keep chuggin'.

As long as the Archives are still there, we can keep goin'.

I'm grabbin' Effects and workin' my way down.

Let's GO!
 
Gentlemen, the sounds are now downloaded and checked. Moving down to Textures, then will jump down to Other and back up to Weapons.

Trust me, there is method to my madness.

I am saving Missions and Campaigns for last, unless someone would like to grab those.
 
Update...

The Archive "CFS3 Missions and Campaigns" has 40 pages, at 15 per page.
So far, I have uploaded Pages 28 to 40. (working backwards - 188 of 593)
More to go, and interesting as I remember many of these oldies but goodies!
