Some advice for flying the Val

Lol. Testing an IJN mission in Val.Alarmed by how slow the bird was flying. I noticed in lower left area of panel a landing gear light was on.Initially I thought nothing of it but then I hit the landing gear button, heard gear retracting noise and light changed.Suddenly plane flew much better.Even though the model shows fixed gear of Val, sim still counts gear as retractable apparently.Performance increased to what was expecting. lol in my defense not much flight time in the Val.Was using the OH Val spruced up to D3A2 specs. Just an FYI for those who may not be aware.

CFS2 aircraft have to have at lest one moving gear part (in the case of the Val the tail gear is coded to move) or thing with the landing gear tend to go wrong.

You will need to edit the .air file. Go to Primary Aerodynamics than * -------- Drag (*2048) - Per Radian ---------- and set *Cdg Drag Coefficient - Landing Gear to 0

Now go to --------- Pitch --- +=Nose Down ------- and set *Cmg Pitch Moment - Gear to 0
