Some Days You Just Shouldn't Get Out Of Bed!

Hey, Rick - so you're the Albatros pilot, I assume, short before his end?
Oh, dear.
Well, you may learn from this, and change your tactics.
One thing, that you see from this pic: never position yourself in a way, that 3 (in words: three!) Tripehounds are behind you at the same time.

I haven't met Tripes yet in BHaH, but I think we Albs can even turn with them. But they are far better in climbing, so never climb long with them.
Next time, you'll do better!

Very nice screenie!

How did you position the camera like this?

Yep..what is commonly known as up sh*t creek, without a paddle!

Looks like a choo-choo train, with an Albatross engine:costumes:

Ouch! No! I'm the tripe that is about to cook his goose! He and four of his friends got caught on the deck and never made it home. He should have called in with "German Flu" that day.

The shot is just the external view of my plane, I was quite close to him. I cropped it so you don't see the "Simulation Paused" lettering!

Okay, now I got it. Was wondering already, that a "crumpet" should prefer our planes?
They all seem to resist it, although they could have way more guns, ammo and fun (lol)!

If you press F12 in that moment, when the blinking line is "off", you get a clean shot, by the way.

Here's another guy, in a similar situation. He needs one of those guns on the back!

edit: oh, and after flying a Nieuport 11 with it's pittance of 194 rounds, I always try to climb in the seat with the guy before I fire! More deaths from collisions than enemy fire!

Rick

Isn't there a Tripehound with two Lewis - or only for Collishaw's use?

There is one, but I don't have it yet, at least. I can't remember if it show up in my squad or not, I know the Camel will in a few months!

Rick-
Take it easy on those Albatrosses- I'm afraid one of them might be Olham and he's been a great addition to the forum!

Thankz, DUCK, kind wordz. But don't be afrraid about me - I don't fear ANY Allied fighterz so far. Yesterday three Nupes, today three Camels - bring zem on! Crumpet menace!! Mmmuahahahaaaaa!!!

I hold my fire for skulls and crossbones. Olham and Blackbeard are safe!

Thank you, Rick. But that Alb was done for Rickitycrate, who flies it now.
My insignia is a Red Kite with it's German name "Milan" underneath. I'll have to finish the skin for myself and will post it then.
But now, you should also tell me, what your markings are - so I won't shoot you either.

Cheers. Olham

(Iff ziss goes on, vee vill be a friendly circus amusement flyink around der front line, wavink to each ozzer - bahh! Baron von Mahlo :karate:)

My plane is rather plain, you see. Rother Naught (my RNAS alter ego) would prefer to lounge with the ladies of gay Paris (sounds contrary) than to dance with a paintbrush on a warm summer's eve!

That's what batmen are for.

Just ask them to bring you a picture back from Paris.
