Some nice freeware scenery suggestions

Snooping around on Simviation, inching my way through the FS2004 scenery library, I came across three packages by Kenny Fox. Two are of Washington state sceneries and one is Lake Tahoe something or other. In the second Washington package, there is a nice lake from resort called Ross Lake Resort....superb flying for float and amphibians alike. Using Rhumbaflappy's mesh and this area is superbly scenic. Go to Simviation, do a search for Kenny Fox and grab his three scenery packages...well worth the download and install time. Kenny's packages are retro enough that they fit in nicely in GW3. And one of them comes with thermals for those who like glider flight (Isreal's Farm, WA56).

Another package I found on SImv, but have no clue who did it (file is called CBLA.zip)....it is a small strip by a mountain lake in Alaska I think. The runway is all of 700 feet. With Rhumbaflappy's mesh in place, you have maybe 50 to 75 feet between one end of the runway and a mountain. Going the other way...the run way ends right at the edge of the lake. This is a STOL scenery for sure. Better have your Piper J3 Cub equipped with tundra tires or floats, or have the PA-18 Super Cub with balloon tires or floats. I haven't tried landing at the strip yet...but am going to. I triple checked the read me file and no name anywhere in it. Dig around in the scenery library at Simv and you'll find it....if you want to check it out and can't find it on Simv, just shoot me a PM with yoru e-mail addy and I can send it to you (it's only 106KB in size).

Obio, I could't find the second Wshington package you spoke of using the link Terry provided. That's the one I want so I will try and searching as you suggested.
