Some pics from today

It ain't hooky if you use the time off for flying, especially with your dad!

Excellent judgement, sir!!! :engel016:

And one very sweet looking airplane! What type is it?

Ken

That's the Thorp t-18 they built.

I almost bought one a few years back, but I couldn't fit into it at 6"4. You and your father have the prettiest one I've ever seen.

Hey, thanks for that!

Yep...it is a really tight fit. With 2 onboard you almost need a third person to help you get strapped in! :d
Ken, here is another pic that shows the plane a bit better...

Nice pictures. You are lucky to be able to do that with your dad. You are creating wonderful memories that will last your lifetime.

We are exact opposites. I'm 1 foot 9 inches and weight 600 pounds.

AHAHAHAHAHA! :d

Man, I can really *feel* the warmth in Californee from those photos...and I'm sitting in a cold room here...*so* not fair. :(

That's spectacular! And not merely from the polished aluminum, but merely the design of the aircraft itself.

The Piet is also beautiful, but on initial look, it looks spindly!

Although, I suspect you can show its actually quite robust and strong.
