Someone check this out and confirm or kill my suspissions.

It claims to "blow Microsoft simulator out of the water". From their screen shots, it doesn't appear that way to me. In fact it looks more like FS2002.

yes its flight gear and "legally" their allowed to, its all been discussed before, more info can be found over in the flight gear forums :)

If you ask me, it's a scam.

It IS the former Flightgear and the claims on the product page are outrageous to anyone not familiar with Flight Simulator.

I'd be ashamed if I were part of the flightsim community to put out a sim that looks and feels like FS98 and sell it as if it were better than FSX even !

But your Sir are an Honorable Person and a true member of the Flight Simulation Community.

They are not. They are the just scum looking to turn a buck.

Even though it isn't legally SCAM, it is still SPAM in my book. I went to both sites on the first posting here, then saw it on Facebook. How do people get away with such poop?

Money. They pay FB for the ad space. The only way to do anything about it is to click the little "x" at the top-right of the ad, then check the "other" button. When they ask why, provide a link that shows their ads to be overblown, if not outright false. If enough people provide that type of feedback, maybe FB will pull the plug on them. After doing a little digging, this is the link that I'll be providing to FB:
http://wiki.flightgear.org/index.php/FlightProSim

You can also click the 'misleading' choice on the Facebook ad. Not sure if it'll help much. I think money is more important than honesty in most (human) cases.
