I have Alphasim's model which is quite nice, personally I'd prefer something like a Whitley, or a Avro Anson!

Piper Tripacer was on the list since 2009 and is probably what we will start after the tiger moth just started a week ago (ten new aircrafts are on the way most need only the flight dynamics part or last virtual cockpit touches).....

resources on the virtual cockpit and instruments of blenheim and or anson are appreciated actually. Having many books and manuals but seems some bombers are not so detailed about cockpit(same difficulties for p61 black widow or mosquito).

actually have only this photo

i am particulary interested on the part at the right of the pilot to see lever and instruments so that we can build.

You may wish to talk to Rick Piper - he started a very beautiful Mk1 Blenhiem about two years back for Fs9 but the project has languished since then - he had a wealth of information
prehaps he can help

Thanks do you know how can i contact him? if you have an email address can you pm me? thanks again

ok thanks i will contact him....searching about the avro anson i have downloaded good infos about cockpit view and instruments... so it's tempting me

I have about 10 pictures of the cockpit of the Duxford Blenheim that is under restoration. They're 4382x2916 so you should be able to zoom in for instrument detail etc.

If you're interested then PM me your email address and I'll send them over - they're a bit too big to post here without resizing.

Edit: And yes, I'd be very interested either freeware or payware.

While I admire the work you do and I have a couple of your aircraft forget the Tiger Moth mate. Noone will ever be able to match Anthony Lynch's Tiger IMO.

If anything I would opt for the Avro Anson. The Blenheim was mainly only used in Great Britain mainly for Coastal Patrol. The Bristol Beaufort was more widely used and I believe they have a similar cockpit layout.

The Anson was also more widely used. It was used for navigation and radio training. It was also for gunnery training and coastal patrol. Post war it gave sterling service as a regional airliner.

The choice is yours but I don't think another Payware Tiger Moth would be viable. I for one will not be buying it, instead saving my money for a Beaufort or Anson.

Cheers
Pat

tiger moth started a week ago so will try my best to made a nice model...not always have good sales interest me,(also if can be hard to believe we like made models principally rares or not) someone have success some not but it always interesting all reseach, learn history and all related, i have still tons of informations about models probably i will never build but just for passion.

AndyE1976 i have pm you thanks

and yes we will build anson and blenheim probably starting them in july. Building bimotors need little more time than a fighter so hoping to finish in two or three months.

thanks to jankess and bruce448 i have take notes of your infos

Man, to do that right would be pretty poly heavy.

I love all those twin engine RAF attack birds. Blenhiems, Beauforts, Beaufighters, all good stuff. That one cockpit photo is amazing. Beautifully restored, she is. I have the Alphasim one as well. I like it. Would welcome a more highly detailed VC... I say go for it.

our modeller never had problems as our customer knows our aircraft are very fast on fps and he knows how solve those problems due his big experience on 3d, often you can't see difference from outside view and virtual cockpit about fps. This will be visible on our next henschel 129 that i m running on an old 2.8 ghz single processor with no fps problem and virtual cockpit is very detailed

I agree, Leif. Rick's Blenheim would be an excellent starting point. I can't remember how far he got with it, but there is no doubt it would be of the very highest quality.

I'd be very interested indeed in buying a good Mk. IV

Personally, I probably wouldn't get another Blenheim, I don't use the ones I have. An Airspeed Oxford or most particularly an Anson, however...?

Either of those were absolutely everywhere, doing absolutely everything. Both types are sadly forgotten in favour of aircraft that did nowhere near as much but, as the B-24 crews said of the B-17, they just had better press officers.
