I have had OFF3 for 3 days now and I am happy to say that it is living up to expectations. The scenery especially is beautiful,no other word fits in my opinion. The aircraft too are really good. After shooting down a DR1 yesterday, I landed in the field and taxied up to the site of the crash and saw the beautifully drawn wreckage of my unfortunate victim, I had to take a picture of course. I am wondering if the devs might consider creating some bomber types (Gotha, Handley- Page) a Zeppelin would be especially good. I think including them would almost complete the picture as far as the Air War of 1914-18 is concerned.

Hello

I am pleased you are enjoying OFF.

Yes we are as keen as ever to do exactly that but it all depends on support and sales from here on in!

UK Home Defence is high on our list.

I can't wait to fly the various R-series bombers. I've always wanted to climb that ladder from the engine nacelle to the upper wing gun position :).

But for the Western Front, I'd like to see at least the following planes added:

N28
Later versions of the BE2 and FE2
DH4
Those twin-engined Caudrons
Albatross C-series or Rumplers

But for the Western Front, I'd like to see at least the following planes added:

There-in is the nut of the problem, the museum like quality of the OFF planes. Quality, rather than quantity. Is there enough written data, or is it best guess. Does one exist somewhere ? There are only so many hands that can construct a replica, such as that.

Was a particular aircraft, in front line service, doing most of the 'dirty work', or did it loose out on a government contract, and was considered second string. The Phase 1 . .Hanriot, comes to mind

There's a bunch of German 2-seaters, in line before the Gotha

I was disappointed, by the lack of a High Wing Monoplane in BHAH, as I'm a glutton for scenery.

Just added this for the hell of it:

What's this going on here? "Between Heaven and Hell" is just released, and many of us still haven't even got it - and you guys talk about what planes you miss, and what you expect for the future? Why don't you give us some nice reports about your first sorties with the new planes, you've GOT already?

And when it's scenery you like, Gimpy, you could always fly as a rear gunner in a Hannover or Roland or a British 2-seater. Even my Albatros gives me a good overall view, as the lower wings are smaller. Or what about the good forward view of the DH2? Superior to the E III even - should be fun, hm?
Jeez - I wish, I had "BHaH" already. Wouldn't find time to mourn about anything then. Sorry, but isn't it true?

Only today the DEV team talked about introducing further types, such as the variants of the BE2 including the single seater version, N24 and N28 and DH4. However, as has been stated before, it really depends on the uptake of BHaH as to further developememnts, due to the time and effort taken to create these.

Good news thanks Daveebee - in the meantime did you try out some of the 2 new seaters/bombers in a bomber squadron? DFW, Fe, Be, Biff, improved Hannover etc have a go.

Sorry CJ, I am trying to sort out how to get it on the forum. I saved it with FRAPSs screenshot. I do want to post it as I'm a bit pleased with it

It's not the same, as the gunner in a 2 seater, you're looking thru a gunsite, same in a DH2. An Observer should observe.
The Morane Parasol was utilized as an artillary spotter, from March 1915 till February 1917. But the Modelling would have killed Polovski

Wait and see after you get your Trackir, you'll understand then

You'll have the sight of a bird, without that lower wing!!!

If any one can give me some pointers as to how you transfer screenshots from my Fraps to the forum I will gladly post them

When you reply to a post, look up at the menu and find the "paper clip". Click on that and the "manage attachments" menu comes up. On the first line click "browse" and find the picture in your computer. When you find the picture, double click it and the file name will come up in the box next to where you clicked "browse". Click "upload" and it will upload the picture. After the upload is finished, close the attachment manager. Click submit reply and you're good to go. It won't remove the picture from your hard drive, it'll just copy it.

I think it should mostly depend on whether or not you guys still have fun doing modelling and skins. If you are, then I hope you all continue. If you do there will always be a core group of hardcore simmers here that will appreciate it greatly.

Of course if BHaH is making you guys rich, well that's a good reason to continue too (grin).
