Hello,
i installed FS2004 a while ago and have been adding meshes and mods and add ons. the west coast looked ok by Seattle but Florida is definitley wrong. I just fired it up three days ago, and the west coast was ok, after some additions and adjustments but maybe all my coasts are wrong for some reason, they are blocky and made of squares and there there is water, it is being rendered as a square.....
can someone help me with suggestions? I added the Tabouret mesh, the packs for East Coast, Central and West Coast USA, and when i went to Florida, something was very wrong....
i had put all the add on meshes into a special folder in the Addon Scenery folder, and activated them from there, thnking there were too many meshes in one folder (i also have europe, Asia, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Japan, Philipnes, etc...) i moved the Tabouret ones to the BASE folder and tried just putting the East Coast ones in there....
i dont know what is causing it..any ideas?
the only other add ons for the florida coast are the 1930's naval bases and one for St Peterburg, and i will try turning them off....

i did think maybe i had not set the default value high enough...as in this advice...
but after i set it to 20, still squares on the coast.
i just read that sometimes FS cant handle too many meshes in one folder.
i would appreciate any help on this..
everything else is running well, and the highest graphics seem to work ok, unless this is an artifact of setting them too high ....
