Like I said, I already explained, in two previous emails, I no longer have the files to mod the Dromader, or make it FSX-native.
Just one of the hazards of being a dev, I guess.
 
Ah, Tim, we do what we can with what we have. Right? Maybe use google translator, make a message, copy it into several languages, then fire it back at him.

In any case, I love the planes you have put out, and I appreciate anything you decide to do in the future whether it be put out planes, or just enjoying the sim.
I hope you can have fun with this stuff and not get hounded too much.

Tim, any idea where this person lives? I assume his or her e-mail address could give a clue. You could provide a Google translated answer in the person's own language.

One of the joys about the next Piglet plane is that you never know what it's going to be until Tim posts some early shots.
People will always ask but the have to understand that Tim doesn't to requests.

Google probably translates "NO" pretty well. Don't add other words. It may change the meaning. Put an explaination under the NO. It might help. Don't forget, some english speakers don't know the meaning of NO either!!

I used to design aircraft for fs9 and got a few request (mind you not nearly as many as someone like piglet would get) I was always tickled pink by the requests as it meant that the sender was happy enough with my work to want to see more. I never did get many thank you notes so I looked on the bright side of the requests :jump:

I am sorta kinda almost getting the feeling that there will not be a M-18-BS for FSX.
And I'm not the fastest greyhound at the track if you know what I mean.
 
Well, there IS a M-18A, by Tim, made back in 2007, for FS9/FSX, and even if it's smaller model than a M-18BS would be, is very simular and very serviceable for pretend spray ops, or broadcasting seed, or whatever.

That emailer making request probably doesn't even know that the M-18A is available. He might just 'settle' for THAT if he knew. He also might not go to FltSimCom. Or other sim sites. And he might not have EVER done a download of a zip file from any sim site. And if he wanted to he probably wouldn't be able, as even a 10 mb file size will cause him to 'hit a wall' due to being on dial up, and if so, would probably be 'droped' (disconnected) by his ISP 4 out of 5 times. Emails are easy. Downloads are another matter. And no telling where in the world he is. Maybe doing email from local library? We never know the 'real' life problems some people have. Just my 2 cents worth.

I'm going back a few years, but does anybody else remember the young kid who had a thing for (IIRC) the SB2C Helldiver and kept posting repeatedly here for somebody to make one? Obviously it was before Wolfi did his SB2C, so maybe like 5 years ago?

To ALL devs, thanks for what you add to this hobby, and thanks for putting up with all the crap from the "me"-tards. I hope you can always remember that, though they may be the most vocal, the rest of us that just appreciate and enjoy are in the majority.
