something odd happened to me

A few weeks ago i was looking on craigslist into buying a used banjo 5 string, since as a kid i played one and thought it would be a neet thing to get back into.

Sunday night i had a knock on the door and a neighbor handed me a nice 5 string banjo with a case, capo, nice strap, thumb pick, 4 steel finger picks and 4 sets of strings. He found it at his church with a note attached, "Free To Good Home"

What was odd is that nobody even knew I was looking at used banjo's. (I hear the song from the twilight zone)
 
Our Lord does have a way with such things I have learned..

Several times in my life Gifts Have appeared to me that only were known to God and me for my need..

That sequence of events would freak me out too, but I suggest you chalk it up in the category of good things happening to good people and commence to pickin' and grinnin'. :)

good luck learning to play the banjo.
I tried years ago, never could get my left hand to know what my right hand was doing...:icon_lol:
 
i must be a natural, open G like my slide guitar, i figured it out yesterday playing deliverance and now am working on the Beverly hillbillies tune
 
Nice!!! Things like that happen to me as well, but it's usually of the Truck nature and it's always heading straight for me. :icon_lol:
