I have the Saitek X45 joystick as well as the saitek pro rudder pedals. When I program my axes for differential braking, I seem to have a problem in the game with brakes staying on after I have depressed either brake pedal. i remember seeing soemthing about this a while ago but it has been a while since I've flown FS9 and don't think the thread survived the crash. I have tried checking reverse and unchecking it and same result for the record I also have a button set on my flight stick for setting the parking brake. Again i apologize if this has been addressed before.

Thanks,

John

John,
it seems to be a regular thing that the default brake setting is 'backward' (no input = ON) so you DO have to go into the FS settings for the pedals and select "Reverse" for the two brake axes (left/right toe) BUT you also have to muddle a bit with the Sensitivities.
Menu: Options/Controls/Sensitivities, select rudder pedals, select Advanced and adjust them to about 50% sensitivity and 60% (to the right) Null Zones. Then say OK and try them.

the 50/60 may be a bit high.. test, lower and retest if you need to those are my settings and they work fine.

Also go into the joystick assignments and check that nothing has been set for a button as "brakes" .. if so, delete the joystick button assignment so there is no conflict.
As a note, I thought of assigning a button to Park Brake too, but I have an X-52 and so I can have it in Mode 3 which contains a whole bunch of 'rarely used' controls so ther is no chance of landing with the brakes on by accident.
