I am trying to locate the closest sounds to use for the IL-14 in FSX.


Having observed IL14 start up at you tube, It almost sounds like DC3 but just a bit off.

Wikipedia lists the engine as:

Powerplant: 2 × Shvetsov ASh-82T 14 cylinder air-cooled radial engines, 1,417 kW (1,900 hp) each

I haven't found fs9 or FSX sound pack for the stock Russian engine.
