Spawning non-US, non-UK and Non-german planes

Hi guys,

My question: can planes in ETO of other nations than USA, GB and Germany be used for spawning?

I want to spawn French fighters for the Attack in the West. I remember from earlier threads at SOH that planes of other nations will not spawn. You have to make a stand alone and give this one the Britisch nationality before they appear.

Is this still the case in ETO too?

Thanks!

Looks like you are using invisible ink remcoc, or white text on a white background

yes you can setup this in the spawn script.

exemple: Country="Belgium" will spawn Belgian aircrafts.

Look into country.xml for the nations.

If you start CFS3 in era1 with Attack in the West Spawn mode (allied or axis, depends which side you want to play), then, you can have a try to the West40 campaign, I've build it with all the spawns and you will have French, British, Belgian or German aircrafts in the air.

Hi LZ,

That's funny. I made a spawn with French airplanes (a specific type) and sofar that didn't work. I will try country only and not a specific type.

what is the "spawn script" of a campaign?

and possible are only those nations defined in the country.xml (?), which brings us back to the old question how to add nationalities to a campaign...:isadizzy:
