• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

I will be away for a few weeks.
the wife and I will be going on a mega road trip.
tomorrow, we depart the Pacific Northwest
and head South, through the Redwood Forest,
almost to LA, then turn East onto I-10.
when we hit the East Coast,
we'll turn South for West Palm Beach, Florida.
after a few days, we will fly home.
this whole exercise is to get our daughter's car
down to her in west palm, where she just moved.

anyway, don't have any fun here without me.
I expect there to be no damage to repair when I return.
IE, holes in the walls, broken glass...and so on.
if you have teenagers, you know what I am talking about.

okay everyone, wake up, I'm back.
the trip started with me grabbing my wife's jacket,
being sick for several days,
and basically being tailed all the way by a nasty storm.
I have been told several times that I brought
the current bad weather to Florida.
the temperature never reached 70
until the day we left....RATS!!!
sorry....I went there to get warm, honest.

real funny...:173go1:
actually, we have matching "company" jackets
(which, btw, we make a point of not wearing at the same time)
I put it on at our first stop,
300 miles from home.
I immediately took it off so I wouldn't pop the seams.
it was a medium, mine is a XL.
it did have 5 bucks in the pocket, though.

yeah, it covered the tax on the sweater
I bought in Florida.

who the heck buys a sweater in Florida?
