Speaking of the Ruptured Duck...

I was...

Here's a "Ruptured Duck" about 50 feet off the water and she takes off from a Carrier with no problems. Bub

...wondering how long it would take and who would be the one to do it. :engel016:

Just....

Out of curiosity, I plopped Tango's Mitch into FS9....and it works. Doesn't fly for squat...but that might just be my bad piloting showing. OBIO

...locate the Trim Control and read the flight manual. :costumes::costumes::costumes:

Sorry, I couldn't resist. :kilroy:

I found...

I haven't had a chance to try this yet, but someone told me that she flies off the carrier fine. Can you confirm that? :help:

...the time. And the answer is YES. Works first time every time. :engel016:

I setup the B-25 with a full fuel load, medium bombs (500 pounders) and spotted 3/4 of the way back on a scale carrier of the proper class moving at 30kts.

Locked brakes, full flaps, full power with WEP (water injection), release bakes, up elevator at the end of the deck, up gear at same time. Once gear is in, retract flaps and disengage WEP.

Yes...

It can.

All I did was go to the games Carrier Takeoff mission. Four 500 lb bombs, brakes on, full flaps and full throttle until the plane starts to shake, release the brakes and off you go. Just like in the movie. It drops off the deck a bit but climbs up and away nicely.

Updated DP for....

....the HARI-KARI-ER attached with a TXT extension. Save and change the extension back to DP for replacing the current DP. Corrects an issue with one of the gun traverses.

I was on the verge of calling you a slacker! :costumes:

On the other hand, how about a totally ficticious, war-worn D model gunship named Cherokee Queen? She's my test-bed aircraft. :engel016:

Well after 5 hours of pure failure trying to paint a certain portion of this puppy I'm getting close. She's still a WIP but I'm almost to the point I'll be able to template that area and list out the scaling needed for each section.

Cherokee Queen, Tasty.... Nice work with the 405th Green Dragon Nose.

BTW, I've also run into more than a few of those not so real paint schemes. In the case of Tokyo Sleeper I'm working from photographs.

The Dragon Ship Lives...

...because we don't need no stinkin' parrot-headed airplanes....

A status report from SC's studio......WIP still, but moving ahead. :applause:

And I've even gotten her to spout flame a few times.....just think of her attacking the Wewak reinforcement convoy. :jump:

Of course, you do realize that this airplane was single-handedly responsible for the Godzilla character. :woot:
