If Guns N Roses actually did cry about you using their music in your video, that makes no sense....considering that they now get about much air time on the radio as Boy George and Milly Vanilly. By using their music, you were actually doing them a favor.

I once had an entire account locked due to "copyright infringement"...I had an account with Sony's image hosting site (now defunct) and they locked my account because I had screen shots and video taken in CFS2. No problem, I just transferred everything to Photobucket and they haven't said a peep about all my copyright infringement.

You know, thats funny because I got the same exact thing yesterday for my Jupiter-2 in New york city video I made for Pendercrafts. I had used new, york, new york by Frank Sanatra. Its been up over a year/ I wonder if they have some kind of new bot LOL. My thought was its just music, I wasn't selling it LOL. I tried to mute the audio, but it wouldnt work and had to remove the video altogether.

Oh well....rights are rights.
 
Some people find better success with YouTube by altering the sound. For example, rather than simply using a song, dub additional sounds over the sound track. The automatic software that they use to check the sounds usually won't pick it up. I have known MANY people who have had their videos removed because of this junk, however, I have not had one YET, and I always dub in my own sound tracks with additional audio.
