Spitfire contra prop

Has there been a late version Spitfire with counter rotating props? If so can anybody tell me where to download it please. I have the Superbolt already but was wondering if the Spit had been made?

Not that I know of it. I've had a few private ventures with flight models for the Mk XIV, turning it into a PR XIX with a contraprop. The easiest aircraft ever to fly. But the looks are still those of a normal Mk XIV, unfortunately...

Do you mean that it only has the flying characteristics and you can't actualy see the props or the specific aircraft detail?

Just Flight /Aero Heaven have one in the boxed Spitfirepack CD for CFS2/FS2002 & FS204.

Oh wow just had a look at their site ... payware though :-(
But can you tell me if there is any way of making FS2004 aircraft work with CFS3?

Without the original source files, no.

We could do with a few more Spitfire models: Mk.VIII, Mk.XII, bubble canopy versions of the Mk XIV and XVI, even an F.21 (they had a very brief WW2 day of duty - or was it three?).

But until someone makes them, we're stuck. :banghead:

damn there does seem to be a lack of these later models ..... sigh ... Christmas is coming ... anybody care to give us a present ?
