A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Military - Props

Description: This package contains alternative textures form the AH/Justfight Spitfire Mk.Ia. The textures depict the Spitfire K9942 as it flew with 72 Squadron from Church Felton, Yorkshire spring 1939.
This aircraft has a long history, K9942 was involved in both the Battle of Dunkirk and the early stages of the Battle of Britain. Although its operational life ended already in June 1940, it flew with several training units and survived the war. During its life it was converted from an early version Mk.I with a Merlin II engine into a Mk.V. But is was completely restored as Mk.I and is currently on display in RAF Museum Midlands.

I wish to thank the guys from Aeroplane Heaven for making this very nice model, which was the perfect canvas for my repaints. And I wish to thank JustFlight for making a free demo from this model available at their site. And last but definitely not least, Martin Wright for his simple but indispensable graphic tools, as without his dtx1 bitmap manipulator these textures simply wouldn't be there.

Enjoy,
Huub
