Spitfire Mk VII,Mk VIII question

If you are referring to the Spitfire VII / VIII package by Rob Stevenson, (Capt. Winters) he asked me to remove it temporarily because I guess there were so many problems with it that he was going to upload a patch for it or a whole new version. I was expecting him to upload something last weekend, but it never materialized.

I didn't erase something of yours, did it? If I did, my advanced apologies, and let's work to restore it as quickly as possible!
 
Good news! Hope for the best that it will have the kinks worked out. Been excited about its' release ........just a while longer . Thanks to all involved .
 
There was a sound effect not working right and some gauge calibration issues accidentally introduced in the final saving of the model. It appears these have been rectified, it isn't up yet as we're adding just a wee bit more to it. Not to worry, you'll have it soon.
 
Hi Guys,

Its up now, had a bit of a issue with my internet, when I flew home from work on Tuesday, found that the next door neighbor had dropped a tree right on top of the fibre optic line. then took the internet guys until today to fix it.

20 mm Cannon

Hi all,have noticed no sound or tracer with the cannon the fix does not include the 20 mm.

The update patch only includes the fix for the broken parts. The full package has everything and shouldn't have issues with the cannons. After you asked I did check to confirm, and it is working correctly.
 
Spitfire`s mk7&8

New download`s great,new cockpit looks good,the sound is awesome but no guns no 303 no 20 mm silence,iv`e placed all in their correct folders but previous 303 worked now nothing the other aircraft`s guns work but not this lot.

I get this no gunfire sounds thing from time to time with the series of 109Gs Rene and I did. I suspect CFS3 has a dislike to excessively complex gun sounds...
 
Cannon`s 303`s sorted

There is a "sounds.xml" the content needs to be copied to the sounds.xml in the main CFS3, The new bit goes after </radio> entry and before the </SoundDescriptions> entry.
Hope this clears the fog.
