hi have request ... if possiable , i have great spits in eto and addons recent theres an older version i like but the cockpit is real grim . is there anyone or anyway to change the cockpit to more of a newer version spiti like in eto ....

That sounds like the original Patrick Didier Spitfire.

1) Copy the cockpit .m3d from ETO_Spit_I_RNN - 'ETO_Spit_I_RNN_Cockpit0.M3D' and place it in the model folder of the Spitfire IA.

2) rename 'spitfire_IA_Cockpit0.M3D' to 'xspitfire_IA_Cockpit0.M3D' (to back it up) then rename the copied model to 'spitfire_IA_Cockpit0.M3D'

Hi LB,

in addition to what Clive says above, you will need to replace the some information in the xdp file with this text below in red.

this will align the gun sights in the new cockpit, and give you the eight gun sounds.

Hi LB,

PM me your email, and we'll get it all sorted out, between us. :wave:

It might be better if we teach you how to make complete standalones, then you can use the ETO Mk1 Spitfire with any of the skins you have. this way you get the new VC and flight Model and effects.
And you can use your new skills on any other planes model you may wish to make as well. Its very easy once you understand the basics.

I have a very good tutorial I wrote up a whiles back for making standalones, I'll send it to you along with the completed Spitfire.
