Splash screens

1. Must splash24b, splash and splash_notext all be of the same image (except no text has no text!) ??
2. besides the size, 800 x 600 must the size of the bmp in bits be a certain maximum? I don't think so. Must they be EXACTLY 800 x 600?

I am trying to get a different picture for splash24b and splash which is why I ask but the computer won't load the splash although it does seem to load 24b if that is the first to appear.

Hi james,

They can be different images. 600x800 is a must though. Its not a straight .bmp format though, if use normal format the colors will be out of sink.

From memory its 16bit-444 format, but im not 100% certain of that and im a couple of days away from my PC to give a deffinate answer
