SOH-CM-2022
My computer gave up the ghost this week, but now it gives me the opportunity to update with a new better one. Time to set-up CFS3 again from the bottom up, this time with all the versions, and I have outlined a plan to do this below. If any of you knowledgable types could take the time to take a look and let me know if I missed anything it would be greatly appreciated.

1. Load CFS3 from disks in original package.
2. Download updates from Microsoft.
3. Follow the ETO download instructions that hairyspin posted on SOH to the letter.
4. Load the 16 MAW downloads posted on SOH by Mathias.
5. Go to aussiex.org and download PTO 1.4 and updates 1.0,1.13,1.22,1.3,1.4,1.54.
6. Download and use Martin Wright's MultiCFS3 utility to create another copy of the vanilla CFS3.
7. Load up the Battle of Britain add-on that I have in the box.
8. Load up the Firepower add-on that I have in the box.
9. Download the updates and B-24 from the Firepower website.

As far as I know:
1. ETO, MAW, PTO all make new CFS3 versions without touching the CFS3 vanilla version.
2. Instructions for MAW and PTO installation are included in the first downloads.

Two questions?
1. Do I need to download any of the weapons packs, etc. from the AvHistory website for any of these versions or are they already included?
2. Do I need to download NEK or anything else?

Thanks!

:kilroy:Swpierce, the answer to both questions is "no".

Question: To which BoB are you referring to having "in the box"?

Note: FirePower should not serve as the install location for ETO. Nor should FirePower be installed over ETO. The same may would be true for the others as well.

Note: Certain FirePower aircraft folders can, and should, be copied to the ETO aircraft folder. Then the FP2ETO Heavy Bombers (not recommened for ETO 1.0 alone) pack can be installed into the full ETO 1.20 install.:d

Hello, Grizz. The intention of my download sequence is for ETO, MAW, PTO to use the vanilla install to form their own folders with the Firepower and JustFlight Battle of Britain add-ons downloaded afterward into a vanilla duplicate. I have no intention to combine these two commercial add-ons with the three expansions but I do want access to their aircraft. I think I know enough to be able to add pylons and change weapons loads for these to work without causing conflicts.
Thanks a bunch for looking this over for me.

But where can we find the necessary files for PTO? nothing concerning PTO on Koreanskies.com.
Thus who & where ?
