Startup Issues Vista possible offending update

A while ago I saw a thread somewhere talking about a Vista Update which stopped Cfs2 from functioning does anyone know which one it was

Still using MS Vista ehh?:icon_eek:

People are running CFS2 on WIN 7, 8 & even 10. I think the only compromise most users on newer OS experience is you need to run in windowed mode.

I've never heard of any MS update stopping CFS2 working. This sim doesn't even put anything to the registry (like FS9 & later iterations), & can be run straight from a USB stick if you have to.

Still on Vista Yeah I know Right??? but unfortunately when you've got sod all you make do with what you got lol :biggrin-new:

I have had this issue before and it was an update that caused it I found the offending update and removed it and had success. I too had never heard of a MS update stopping a sim but about a week prior It was mentioned in a thread and now I can't find any trace of the thread or reference to which update it was causing it but I shall investigate further...

many thanks
